I specialize in wedding photos, maternity, newborns, babies/children, family portraiture. Through my personal yet professional manner, I plan to put you and your children at ease, allowing you to interact comfortably with the camera or with each other.

I provide creative on-location or in studio photography. On-location sessions usually take place in your own home where your little ones feel the most comfortable and at ease or a specific desired location outside your home. Many new parents prefer this option. I also have a studio located in Lumby BC which is set up for infants, children and maternity shoots. The studio offers a warm cozy setting specifically for infants and children, using only soft constant professional light for the comfort of little eyes. The studio is a fun place for children to play and show themselves while capturing professional studio picture of there true personality.

Your photo session starts with a phone consultation to determine what kind of portraits you are interested in. I want to learn about your family's style, and what kind of session and setting will work best for you. We can also meet in-person, whatever you prefer.

A typical session with me is very relaxed, calm and probably unlike any other portrait experience you've had. You may be used to the "say cheese" photographers whose "bedside manner" leaves your children feeling uncomfortable and unable to relax and be themselves. You won’t find that here!

The session can last anywhere from 45 minutes to 1 1/2hrs, sometimes less, sometimes longer. Infant sessions usually take longer to accommodate for feedings and changes. My sessions are unhurried so your child feels comfortable opening up their world to me. Photo sessions can be booked for morning or afternoon.

From my own experience, I realize a wedding is one of the most important days of a couple’s life. After all the planning to make sure it's perfect, suddenly it's over, and all that is left are memories. I  capture the important magical moments of a couple’s wedding so they can relive them over and over. I offer images in many styles (ie. color, black and white, color highlighted black and whites and sepia) as well as digital negatives.  This combination, with a mixture the artistic styles of photojournalism, provides for exceptional photography of any wedding event. I capture moments that will last a lifetime.
